As much as I don’t like this practice, I have little sympathy for Google, as they annoy me with prompts to download Chrome when I use Gmail or Maps all the time. Their apps also prompt me to launch external links with Chrome, when I don’t even have it installed. They are some of the worst offenders of this kind of thing.

While i dislike Google and Chrome as much as the next person, this is yet another reason to dump Windows for Linux.
