On the other hand, cancelling once you are billed makes the entire charge reversed. So there is that...The even worse outcome I've experienced (from other businesses) is cancellation would only take effect on your next billing cycle. That does not seem to be the case.

YouTube Music? I made a switch to them after finding that their recommendation engine worked better compared to Spotify...plus i get YouTube ads free as a side effect. Your mileage might vary on the recommendations engine though...
I actually had Youtube Premium with Music before I gave spotify a try. I just cancelled Spotify's trial a few days ago. I just don't see what I get (for myself specifically) that I don't get with Youtube Music.
My wife prefers bright lights while I prefer them dim. My solution was to have the dim lights switch on when motion is detected and it is dark. My wife would then use the wall switch for the bright lights. This works great for the kitchen and bath.
