I've just integrated it with my pet project at varten.com. It's a very smooth experience, and data points started to show up on the Cloudflare dashboard within a few minutes. One minor downside: it doesn't work on clients with JavaScript turned off.

(PM for Cloudflare Analytics here)

Thanks! If you do end up "orange clouding" and proxying your site through Cloudflare, we can show you lots of stats about your website, even from clients that don't support JS :)

My website, like many, uses Cloudflare's CDN.

I occasionally spend time going through the analytics section inside the dashboard. I suppose those are data points gathered by your edge servers (?). If true - how is that different from what is launched today?

what launched today allows you to use it even if you don't proxy your traffic, hell even if you don't have your nameserver pointed to cloudflare at all.

How to prevent my own visits to appear on the dashboard?

I had been using Google Sheets to keep track of some of my daily activities. Google Sheets is a feasible solution but the UI is not optimal for this use case, so I built this web app and released it on the first day of 2020. Hopefully Dayta can be a useful tool for those who are pursuing a mindful life.

The XCode trojan author is believed to have also backdoored the Unity3D engine. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10256998

Chinese security engineers from Alibaba and Baidu have discovered backdoored Unity3D (v4.6.4 to 5.1.1) in the wild. The infected SDKs share the same behaviors as the infamous XCodeGhost trojan. Four types of malicious attacks have been uncovered and PoC'ed:

* Targeted phishing by prompting an alert box.

* Downloading apps with enterprise certificates.

* Opening a phishing web site in the browser.

* Launching App Store to promote specific apps.

(The last two attacks are exploiting the same vector.)

I ran a survey to gauge the reaction toward the logo change and shared the results at http://blog.zmxv.com/2015/09/crowds-reaction-to-googles-new-...
