This is something I want to but do not know how to do.

I have social anxiety. I try and call family and friends on a regular basis, but its all from my side. I start to feel like I'm just hassasing people.

I got caught by a dark pattern asking me subscribe with an x to close option. Clicking the x option navigated me away and then informed me that I'd reached an article limit when I tried to go back to the article. Might just be my fat fingers(they are not fat) but its still not a great user experience.

I'd love to see Amazon push for its suppliers to offer a low environmental impact packaging option. If you buy a camera on Amazon, the box isn't selling anything on Amazon, so you can use a basic recycled board box with minimal to no plastic for your new camera. Would select that option every time. I have opened my MacBook box since removing it from the box the first time. It may as well have been made out of lowest energy to produce and recycle material or something naturally biodegradable.

It looks like an existing interview transformed into a non-live interactive chat where you are given preselected questions to choose from.

I didn't understand that from their write up. Am I missing something?

My old man worked for DuPont for years and his theory was that they lobbied against hemp because of the competition to the then newly devolved nylon.

Here's [1] a good rundown of the conspiracy. To wit, it's a conspiracy of two: DuPont wanting to outlaw hemp which could have provided an alternative to Nylon, and Hearst which was heavily invested in wood-pulping machinery for paper production, again for which hemp was a good alternative.

I have trouble with that article due to the tone. There’s no reason to refer to people as ‘potheads’ or mention Jerry Garcia with bitterness and disdain, or at all. It seems the author has an axe to grind with the remnants of 60s culture.
