They didn't figure out that careless methane emissions caused an accelerated warming cycle that caused tundra melts in the arctic to release stored carbon into the atmosphere in 2022 using 1st world science. It already happened and explains the increase in temperatures clearly.

That's definitely the goal! Look at arbitrary datasets and try to understand what's in them. It's particularly important for climate data where aligning different datasets geospatially and temporally can be a challenge.
Except unlike the others Ligma Johnson were made up names to make a "funny" homophone (to sound like "Lick my johnson" ). I guess Musk found it so hilarious he just had to hire them. I wonder how "hardcore" they will be as employees...
