Have you tried the iOS app as well? Interested to hear your experience with it.

I have (semi-daily) and would say it’s somewhat close to being day to day usable. They recently added Safari-style back and forth gestures and you can choose to arrange your tabs vertically (though not in a tree).

The main thing preventing daily driving is that it’s not in the App Store yet, leading to it not being selectable as a default browser. I also experience occasional crashes with hundreds of tabs open.

Would be cool if you could tell the bridge to automatically move all telegram chats to your designated telegram space...

Just got started with clickhouse. Super cool software.

I mean it is a little absurd, when everyone on the planet is using email, which is federated...

Also absurd that so many of us use SSDs but still don't know what quantum tunneling is...

Everyone on the planet is using IPv4 and the internet, yet the understanding ends at 'what is a LAN and what is a port' for a shocking portion of developers. Not knowing about federation[0] doesn't seem so bad.

[0] Most likely this is referencing the term and the structural pattern; as you correctly pointed out, the concept is quite widespread.

i've even heard that some people use some kind of federated packet-switching network these days to communicate. it'll never catch on :)

What about Conduit? Recently entered beta and is also written in rust.

Some screenshots and features of Conduit would be nice.

It's a server, here are clients for it https://matrix.org/clients/ (with pictures). Features https://matrix.org/discover/

I understand now thanks.

Try MoSMB. It's proprietary, but we have had good results with it on CephFS.

Thanks! I've had this recommended to me before, I'll have to check it out sometime.

what about ganesha?

I bridge Signal/Whatsapp/Telegram and you can absolutely start chats through the bridge bot. It might be a little inconvenient, but for the rare occasion I do need it, it works absolutely fine.

They didn't scrap it though?

Tell me you never had a vegan burger without telling me you never had a vegan burger.
